The curtains have fallen on another vibrant edition of Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG), which celebrated its 20th anniversary edition from 25 – 28 February.

Held from 16 – 19 May in Areas A & B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG) recently concluded its largest edition yet with 82,740 visitors in attendance. Industry peers were delighted to once again gather at the physical fair to make face-to-face business connections and discover the latest products and innovations across 150,000 sqm of exhibition space, including 15 thematic halls and three newly introduced “Immersive Experience Zones”.

Quality buyers and new business opportunities; amid a challenging global business environment and pandemic prevention and control measures in China, these were the key ingredients that exhibitors were pleased to find at Prolight + Sound Guangzhou 2020 (PLSG), which gathered a total of 41,556 visitors and 677 exhibitors for its 18th edition at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. Concluding on 24 August, the event was the first major industry trade fair of its kind to return in China following the COVID-19 outbreak, providing an effective and high quality business platform for professionals in the entertainment, media and AV industry to reconnect, rebuild and network.

As the curtain fell on Prolight + Sound Guangzhou 2019 (PLSG), show organisers announced a new record of 1,353 exhibitors who flocked to the annual event from 25 countries and regions, along with 81,154 professional visitors (7% up) from the entire professional lighting, audio, event management, stage design, system integration and AV technology industry chain. Combined with an overall exhibition area of over 130,000 sqm, this marks the largest ever edition of PLSG to date.
